Our family photo shoot was fun mixed with a little torture! The kids just wanted to run around and play, and Bob just wanted to wrap it up. Traci was so patient with us all!

Here is Bob with his babes, so cute, but Lauren looking like she's in pain! haha

A great one of everyone except me! Apparently something interesting on the ground?
And this one cracks me up. Lauren are you pooping? Nathan in true goober mode, and Bob in typical fashion with eyes closed. And what's with the pinky finger Bob?

This one is better...better than most of them! It really was a beautiful fall day!

It was difficult getting everyone ready, but at least we now have family pictures!! yippee!

Time is flying

Wow it's been a long time since I've posted anything! I have pictures to add of course when I get another moment. These pictures of the kids were taken by my wonderful friend Traci this past weekend. Thanks Traci!
We have had a great fall. Nathan is doing super in 2nd grade and is taking part in the KITS program (Kids into Thinking), which is a big honor. He just finished his first year of tackle football and absolutely loved it. Now we are getting ready for basketball to start.
Lauren loves preschool but is completely ready to get on that bus next year for kindergarten! She is taking ballet and tap right now and it couldn't be more diva like! She is also taking swim lessons, she is a total fish!
We are looking forward to Thanksgiving here with friends, and then hopefully Christmas in NY again.

Old Forge, NY June '10

Such an awesome vacation in NY this year! We saw both families, even our Colorado cousins, spent lots of time on the lake and saw some super fireworks. We always have fun in Old Forge, being on the water, going to Enchanted Forest, roasting smores and so much more!

Lauren's 1st ride on the jet ski...she was not a huge fan because it was SO rough that day and the water just kept splashing her face. Oh well, I enjoyed it!

Pepper on the barge, she went everywhere with us.

The six crazy Anweiler/Timm cousins - I believe they were giggling from the famous quote of the week from little miss Lauren "move your ass Pepper!"

Lauren, Maddi, me and Lisa on the new speed boat - the latest of the Anweiler toys!! Love it!

Evil? Rotten? Crazy? yes, all of the above....

Nathan with precious little Abbey!

Pepper loving the outdoors, not in 95+ degrees.

Cutie pie Jake with Emma in the background (he had a little crush on her).

Bob, Tina, Wyatt, Keller, Nathan, Lauren, and Jake - barge ride to the pond.

Lauren getting ready for her birthday party....waiting on guests.

Abbey and Tina, resting quietly before the christening. How freaking gorgeous is she??

Hugs and kisses to all of our family. Thank you to everyone for a wonderful vacation and some great northern hospitality LOL

Proud and goofy smiles

Wow it's been an exhausting but exciting April and May! We've had so many end of year school activities and lots of good stuff happening at home. Nathan is about 8 days away from finishing 1st grade and he can't wait to track out! His class worked on a major project of picking, baking, dipping and then selling strawberries. They set up a classroom just like a store and they all had jobs. Nathan was a cashier and had to use his math skills to determine how much each customer owed. He did great and had so much fun doing it! Bob and I both attended to purchase some goodies.

Nathan lost one of his top front teeth and has a goofy smile now.

Lauren couldn't be prouder that she can pump on the swing all by herself now. She disappears in the backyard and I find her out there pumping away! She also got an early birthday present - a princess bike - and she is riding like a pro. I still need to get some pictures of that to post.

Pepper is doing great and fitting in with the family. She is getting bigger by the day and developing her personality and role within the home. The kids just can't get enough of her!

We are all ready for summer (not the 100's for sure), but our pool opened and we're up there just about every day. Love to all!

Nathan's 1st race and Lauren strawberry picking

Nathan ran his first kids dash after my 5k on May 2nd. It was a record heat of 94 degrees that day! He did great, but my time was a little slow! He ran with Ben and Lexi, our good friends up the street.

Lauren went strawberry picking with the Kulzer family while Bob and I were at the shelter discovering our new Pepper girl. She had a blast and came home with a huge crate of strawberries! Thank you Traci for the pictures!

Myrtle Beach 2010

All of my babies! Jake, Shane, Nathan, Emma, Maddi, and Lauren in front of the sand gator!
We had such a great time in Myrtle this year with both of my brothers' families there and all 6 cousins together. Tons of sand and sun, pools, and sand animals. We can't wait to see everyone again.

And the littlest one...

Pepper fitting in just fine

Within the past year, we had to say goodbye to our beloved Bayli (15 yrs old) and Kayla (16 yrs old). It was heart breaking on all of us but we know they are happy and healthy now.
A couple of weeks ago, Bob and I decided to add to our family yet again! Kita needed a pal as much as the kids did. We got Pepper from a shelter at barely 10 weeks old. She is adorable and adjusting fabulously into our home. I will admit it's fun having a puppy around again. :)

Christmas 09 in NY - New Hartford and Old Forge

What an awesome holiday we had this year! On the trail of a horrific drive through the VA storm, we finally made it to NH without getting stranded. We enjoyed Nana and Papa and walking to Grandma Rye's! We had a fantastic dinner at Jeff and Lisa's new home and the kids spent hours sledding on their front yard hill. Nana and Papa of course threw their early Christmas at their place and I think Nana had more fun with the gifts than the kids! Such a kid....
And to top it off we had a lovely dinner at Chip and Lesli's on Christmas eve where the kids got lots of snowmobile rides from Uncle Chip! Thanks to everyone for such a great time.

In Old Forge we got to meet our newest member of the family, Abbey, not even 2 weeks old! She is an absolute doll and we all had to fight for our "hold" time! Lauren just loved her too. We went sledding just about every day - a couple of times at the "big" hill at the golf course, and other times at Daddy's manmade one at Gramma and Grampas. We got to see Tina and Steve, and Heather and Greg and of course Jake! We had awesome dinners, a beautiful Christmas day, and lots of games. Our last night there we all went to the Ole Barn for dinner. Thanks to everyone for a great vacation!

Please enjoy the slideshow to the right of our 2009 holiday in NY! Love to all -
